Some women consider their own overabundance of breast tissue a blessing, while others in the same position consider it a curse. That’s the main reason that the women in the latter category want to get breast-reduction surgery.

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, our doctors, all of whom are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, are experts in this procedure. During your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss with us your hopes. We will then evaluate your case, discuss any areas of concern you may have and then devise a plan to meet your expectations.

Mammoplasty is the medical term for the operation to reduce the size of a woman’s breasts. The procedure removes extra fat, tissue and skin.

There are quite a few reasons to undergo mammoplasty. Some are due to:

Most female adults are eligible for breast-reduction surgery. Even some teenagers can get it, but if their breasts have yet to fully develop, the young women may need additional surgery later in life. Women who haven’t given birth to a child or want to give birth to more children should reconsider breast reduction surgery until after their family is complete. So should obese women who are planning to lose a significant amount of weight, because the size of their breasts will likely change.

At the offices of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, every patient is unique, and we know that individual preferences vary. Our goal is to offer a clear picture of all the options available to you and deliver the results you expect. For more information on breast-reduction surgery, please contact us today. You’ll be glad you did!

There it sits — smack in the middle of your face. At some point in your life, you probably passed judgment on your nose, thinking it’s too long, too short, to crooked or just pain ugly. In severe cases, some people may think their nose is so flawed that it does a number of their sense of self — and how they relate to others.

Although you’re probably your own harshest critic, you do have to live with yourself — so you might as well be happy with your physical attributes. That’s where plastic surgery comes in. At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, you need not suffer with what you feel is an unattractive nose. Take that first step toward addressing your problem by setting up an appointment with us to discuss the changes you want to make.

A nose job (or rhinoplasty) can be performed for both medical and for cosmetic reasons. Regardless, it changes the nose’s shape and can go a long way in enhancing your facial appearance. The procedure is a relatively simple one, usually done on an outpatient basis under anesthesia to keep you comfortable and pain free. And while there’s no such thing as a perfect nose, a rhinoplasty is a simple and effective way to make yours the best it can be!

Every patient is unique and individual preferences vary. During your initial consultation at the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, you will have the opportunity to discuss your cosmetic goals. During a consultation, we can discuss specific areas of concern you may have. Our goal is to offer a clear picture of what is possible — and deliver the results you expect. At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute we take pride in providing you with the best care in plastic surgery—with results you’ll love. If you’re considering rhinoplasty, we can help!

Whether you are experiencing difficulty breathing through your nose, or you are unhappy with the shape of your nose, rhinoplasty may be right for you. The first step is to schedule a consultation with our one of our expert plastic surgeons. During this meeting, your doctor will discuss the procedure with you and what to expect.

Rhinoplasty, also commonly referred to as a “nose job,” is a surgical procedure that can change the size, shape, and/or structure of your nose, depending on your needs. Sometimes the surgery is performed to correct an obstructed airway, or correct a birth defect, other times it is done for solely cosmetic reasons. Changing the shape or size of your nose is a big decision. That’s why we spend a lot of time explaining what can and cannot be done and making sure you are comfortable with what the desired results may be.

We want you to love your new look. So it’s very important to have open conversations about what you want to achieve. We are here to offer expert advice and listen to your concerns. Some of the most common reasons patients come to us for rhinoplasty include:

The goal of the surgery is to help you feel good about your appearance and improve or maintain the functionality of the nose. Your doctor will provide you with thorough information before the procedure as well as inform you of how to take care of the area post-surgery.

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, we’re dedicated to providing the highest quality of skilled and compassionate care. For more information on our office and the many services that we provide, give us a call today.

Almost everybody has a body part they’re not thrilled with. They may deem it unattractive, unflattering, ugly. In other words, it needs a fix. The nose, that highly visible structure in the middle of the face, receives a lot of scrutiny from its owners. They might think it’s too long, too short, too wide or narrow, and in many other ways works to diminish their sense of self and their self-confidence.

The good news is that you’re not stuck with the nose you have! At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, you need not suffer with what they feel is an unattractive nose.  If you are thinking about getting a nose job (also known as a rhinoplasty), set up an appointment with our knowledgeable and highly skilled professionals to discuss the changes you want to make.

Although rhinoplasty can be done for medical reasons, it can also be done for cosmetic reasons, changing the nose's shape and appearance.  A nose job is usually done as an outpatient procedure, where general or local anesthesia is used to keep you comfortable and pain free. We will then reshape the nose’s inner bone and cartilage to produce a more pleasing appearance for you. Keep in mind that there is no such thing as a perfect nose. Surgery, though, can enhance facial features and emphasize your unique and natural beauty.

Facial aesthetics is our top priority

Well-shaped ears are ones that usually go unnoticed. But having ears that are large, misshapen, or that stick out too far can be a problem for many, eroding a person’s self-esteem over a lifetime. Children with protruding ears are often subjected to teasing by peers; teens and adults can become withdrawn and self-conscious about the appearance of their ears.

You can give your child, or even yourself, a new lease on life with a simple ear pinning procedure, known as an otoplasty, at the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute. Our patients appreciate our highly skilled and experienced team who are experts at producing natural-looking improvements.

Corrective ear surgery is generally an outpatient procedure, performed under some form of anesthesia so that you are comfortable and pain free during the process. We use otoplasty to successfully treat a variety of ear irregularities and deformities including:

The goal of otoplasty is to improve the appearance of the ears and to provide a well-proportioned look to the face overall. The specific technique used will determine the location of the incisions and the resulting scars. After making the incisions, we’ll remove excess cartilage and skin, fold the cartilage into the proper position, and secure it with internal stitches.

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, we’re dedicated to making you look and feel your best. During your initial consultation with us, you will have the opportunity to discuss your cosmetic goals and we’ll explain how we can achieve them for you. They appear slowly – or even suddenly, making you wonder why your once-unblemished skin is now freckled with occasional darkened spots, called age or liver spots.

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, our team of skilled professionals understands how age spots can detract from your appearance and make you feel self-conscious —particularly if the age spots are large and are located in a conspicuous part of your body. Fortunately, we can successfully treat age spots with simple, in-office laser resurfacing treatments.

More common in older adults, age spots are flat, oval areas of increased pigmentation, usually tan, brown or black, and occur on skin that has had the most sun exposure over the years, such as the backs of hands, tops of feet, face, shoulders and upper back. True age spots are harmless and don't need medical treatment.

For cosmetic reasons, we treat age spots in a variety of ways, including laser resurfacing treatments, which work to remove the upper layers of skin. It is sometimes referred to as “laser peeling” since it removes old skin cells in order to reveal newer, more youthful cells. Laser resurfacing heats the underlying skin to promote collagen production, which stimulates skin in the treatment area to heal in a smoother, more even appearance. After treatment, age spots fade gradually over several weeks or months.

Those unsightly blue lines that have been appearing on your legs are starting to make you feel self- conscious. They weren’t there before! You may be one of many suffering from varicose veins or spider veins, a common condition that affects nearly 50 percent of all women and nearly as many men.

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, our team of skilled professionals understands how varicose and spider veins can detract from the appearance of your legs and impact your confidence level. Fortunately, these conditions are usually a cosmetic issue that we can successfully treat with a simple, in-office procedure called a sclerotherapy.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a salt solution directly into the vein. The solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is then reabsorbed into nearby tissue and eventually fades. After the procedure, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results. Multiple treatments may be needed in some cases.

In addition to being unattractive, varicose veins can become very uncomfortable, causing painful swelling, aching, throbbing, or cramping in the feet and legs. By shrinking the veins, sclerotherapy reduces the effects of vein damage, not only making varicose veins less visible — but less painful as well.

Here’s to your beautiful legs!

At the office of Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, our knowledgeable and experienced professionals are experts at firming up those areas and erasing years from your appearance using a neck lift procedure.

Neck lifts are a great option for people who have a double chin, sagging jowels or loose neck skin. One of the great benefits of firming up the neck is that often works to enhance your entire facial appearance.

The first telltale signs of aging in the face are usually a sagging jawline and neck. Our Doctor specializes in restoring the appearance of an aging neck with modern, minimally-invasive surgical techniques  including neck lifts.

Neck lifts are designed for people who have a double chin, loose neck skin, sagging jowls or neckbands. Although the procedure focuses on one specific area, the results we create often enhance the patient’s entire facial appearance.

The process starts at your initial consultation with Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, who will discuss your goals, evaluate your facial anatomy, and then customize  a plan for how to improve the contours and definition of your neck.

Neck lifts are usually done in our accredited ambulatory facility (AAAASF) under IV sedation with a board-certified anesthesiologist, to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free throughout. It takes approximately 2-3 hours, during which we create small incisions around and behind your ears, and a very small one under the chin. The muscles of your neck are then carefully tightened and any extra skin and fat are removed. Incisions are closed and a pressure dressing is applied around your head and underneath your chin.

Recovery from a neck lift takes approximately 1 week in the majority of patients. You may feel some tightness and some bruising, both of which lessen with time. Give yourself time to heal to get the most benefit from the procedure — a refreshed, younger-looking you!

What is the Renuvion J-Plasma?

J-Plasma is one of the most revolutionary treatments of the moment to radically combat skin flaccidity.

Because of its combination of the unique properties of cold Helium Plasma and the energy of radiofrequency, with J-Plasma, you can reaffirm and rejuvenate the skin safely and permanently.

Renuvion powered with J-Plasma, is treatment that is usually combined with Liposuction and helps tighten the skin using a unique combination of ionized helium gas and Radiofrequency.

How does the J-Plasma procedure look?

This procedure is minimally invasive. The surgeon makes a small incision of approximately 4 millimeters to insert a small cannula to suction the fat and then pass the J-Plasma that tightens the skin. The heat generated by the flow of helium plasma energy triggers the production of natural collagen in the skin, and It creates a tightening effect.

It can be done in an outpatient clinic and requires between 48 and 72 hours of recovery. A compression garment for a few weeks for optimal results.

Nowadays, we recommend to all of our patients inquiring about liposuction to consider adding J-Plasma to their treatment plan. This helps optimizing the results of their liposuction by creating a tighter, firmer skin in the treated areas and preventing loose skin after liposuction.

However, J-Plasma can also be performed independently of liposuction to treat loose skin problems as an anti-aging procedure.

The effects are very noticeable immediately after treatment, but will continue to increase until three months after surgery and will reach their final results after nine months after surgery.

liposuction and j-plasma

What areas can be treated?

J-Plasma can be done on any part of the body that has loose skin whether it has been treated with liposuction or not. This is in case of any loose skin in the following areas:

For women who have loose skin after pregnancy or excessive weight loss where liposuction is not sufficient, and a tummy tuck is not desired

What are the benefits of the J-Plasma?

Unlike other aesthetic interventions, those using J-Plasma do not require more than 3 to 5 days of recovery. But keep in mind everyone is different and this might be different from one person to another.

Since liposuction with J-Plasma is performed through small incisions, the chances of leaving scars are very low, compared to other aesthetic surgeries.

It stimulates the production of natural collagen to renew cells to firm the skin

In facial and skin beauty treatment, it allows eliminating wrinkles, spots, and scars.

The treatment is painless for the patient.

What is the potential side effect?

Recovery. It is not uncommon for patients to experience bruising, swelling, redness, or a mild tight sensation in their skin following their Renuvion with J-Plasma.

Some patients may experience bruising and swelling for long periods, which is normal following a liposuction procedure.
