The first telltale signs of aging in the face are usually a sagging jawline and neck. Our Doctor specializes in restoring the appearance of an aging neck with modern, minimally-invasive surgical techniques  including neck lifts.

Neck lifts are designed for people who have a double chin, loose neck skin, sagging jowls or neckbands. Although the procedure focuses on one specific area, the results we create often enhance the patient’s entire facial appearance.

The process starts at your initial consultation with Revive Plastic Surgery Institute, who will discuss your goals, evaluate your facial anatomy, and then customize  a plan for how to improve the contours and definition of your neck.

Neck lifts are usually done in our accredited ambulatory facility (AAAASF) under IV sedation with a board-certified anesthesiologist, to ensure you are comfortable and pain-free throughout. It takes approximately 2-3 hours, during which we create small incisions around and behind your ears, and a very small one under the chin. The muscles of your neck are then carefully tightened and any extra skin and fat are removed. Incisions are closed and a pressure dressing is applied around your head and underneath your chin.  

Recovery from a neck lift takes approximately 1 week in the majority of patients. You may feel some tightness and some bruising, both of which lessen with time. Give yourself time to heal to get the most benefit from the procedure — a refreshed, younger-looking you!
