Here’s what you need to know for your visit
Virtual Consultations
We offer virtual consultations for patients unable to visit our practice in person. Discuss your goals, medical history, and concerns with Dr. Askari via video, allowing him to create a personalized treatment plan.
Traveling for plastic surgery can be overwhelming. Our dedicated team will provide recommendations for local services such as restaurants and entertainment.
We provide detailed pre-operative instructions on medications, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle adjustments. Arrive in Miami 1-2 days before surgery to meet in person and avoid feeling rushed. Plan to stay for seven days post-surgery for follow-ups and close contact with Dr. Askari and his staff.
We ensure your well-being with a comprehensive post-op care plan, including follow-up appointments, medication management, and recovery guidelines. Our team is accessible for any questions. Virtual follow-up calls are scheduled post-surgery. The duration of your stay will be discussed during scheduling.
How long do I have to stay in Miami after cosmetic surgery?
We have partnered with the Marriott Dadeland, Miami, to provide discounted rates for your stay, including hotel credits. Dr. Askari and/or our nursing staff will visit you at the hotel as needed after your surgery. The Miami Marriott Dadeland offers newly renovated guest rooms and complimentary internet access, located near Downtown Miami and South Beach. Whitney’s Restaurant serves international cuisine for breakfast and lunch.
Accommodations
The duration of your stay in Miami depends on the type of surgery. On average, you will need to stay 7-10 days after extensive surgeries like Mommy Makeover, Brazilian Butt Lift, and Liposuction, and about 5 days for smaller surgeries like breast augmentation and chin liposuction. These durations include one day prior to your surgery. The longer your stay, the better, as it ensures proper healing and adherence to Dr. Askari’s post-op care guidelines.
Do I need a caretaker after my cosmetic surgery in Miami?
Yes, you need a caretaker for support after your surgery. It could be a family member, friend, partner, or someone 18+ years old committed to helping you both emotionally and physically. Your caregiver assists with medication, mobility, and other needs post-surgery. We offer credits towards professional post-op care to hire a professional for additional support. If you cannot bring a caregiver, you can stay in a recovery home that offers 24/7 care, meals, massages, and transport. We are not affiliated with any.
How can I get around Miami after my cosmetic surgery?
For transportation, we recommend using Uber or renting a car.
