Lipo 360 Miami

Lipo 360 in Miami, performed by Dr. Askari, our board-certified plastic surgeon, helps you achieve your ideal body shape, reduce stubborn fat deposits, and reshape areas of your body that are traditionally hard to tone. Interested in shaping and toning your body? Whether you’ve been exercising daily, eating right, or just want to contour your body, it’s never been easier to remove that stubborn fat.

What Is Lipo 360?

Lipo 360 is precisely what it sounds like – an approach to liposuction that addresses the entire midsection during one single procedure. This procedure removes stubborn, unsightly fat deposits from your stomach, sides, mid- and lower back, and more. Traditionally, a liposuction procedure might be used on one area at a time, like the stomach or the thighs. With the lipo 360, you can contour, shape, and improve the overall appearance of your silhouette.

What Areas Does Lipo 360 Include?

Lipo 360, also called circumferential liposuction, helps eliminate excess fat from the full circumference of the midsection.

Areas for Lipo 360 in Miami

The upper and lower abdominals
The obliques
The flanks/sides
The mid and lower back
As such, this liposuction procedure offers the ability to reshape your body. With the right plastic surgeon, you can lift, tone, and contour your abdomen, sides, and back, removing stubborn fat deposits that exercise and diet alone cannot remove.

What are the different add-ons to a lipo 360?

During a lipo 360, you can add different types of cosmetic procedures:
patient in bikini

Brazilian Butt Lift

The BBL add-on is a great way of enhancing your entire body. This add-on procedure targets the buttocks by enhancing their size and shape. The Brazilian Butt Lift uses the excess fat removed via liposuction to place it back into the buttocks. It aims for curvaceous, proportionate figures and achieve a coveted hourglass shape. Dr. Askari performs Safe BBL; to learn more about it our BBL page.

Renuvion J-Plasma

Renuvion J-Plasma is a skin-tightening add-on for your lipo 360. This technology combines helium gas and radiofrequency energy to tighten and tone skin. Renuvion helps to smooth and firm the skin and improve the overall contour of the treatment area. It also allows your results to last longer. To learn more about it, check our Renuvion page.

How Does Lipo 360 Work?

The first step in the circumferential liposuction process is to have a personal consultation with Dr. Askari. During your consult, we will discuss your goals and expectations, explain the procedure, and help you understand what results you might see. You will also complete a full physical examination.

After the consultation, your procedure will be scheduled. The process will take several hours and vary based on your needs and goals. Your surgeon will use a specially designed vacuum to remove fatty tissue from the target areas around your midsection, including across the abdomen, along your sides, and on your back.

Dr. Askari use specific techniques to create natural-looking changes that add up to a dramatic reinvention of your body and enhanced definition for your curves.

What Is the Recovery Process After Lipo 360 in Miami?

After a Lipo 360, most patients can return to work and light-duty activities within just 1 to 2 weeks. In many cases, patients can become more active within about four weeks. Note that every patient’s situation is unique.

The Lipo 360 is an outpatient procedure. Our team will send you prescription medication for pain management. You will need to wear a compression garment to help with healing and achieve your desired results. Lymphatic massages will be recommended to reduce swelling and fasten the recovery time.

Dr. Askari will work with you to help predict when you can resume your regular activities. Be prepared to avoid certain activities, particularly very strenuous ones like running or working out, for several weeks to allow your body time to heal and recover.

What Is the Cost of Lipo 360 in Miami?

Lipo 360 offers the chance to remove unsightly, stubborn fat, augment your curves, and tighten sagging skin. As an elective procedure, it is not covered by insurance. The cost will also vary from patient to patient depending on several important factors, including:
The number of areas being targeted

Who Is the Best Candidate for Lipo 360?

Like all cosmetic surgical procedures, Lipo 360 may not be suitable for everyone. This is a more advanced procedure than traditional liposuction, and it may help specific individuals address multiple problem areas around the circumference of their torsos.

The best candidates are those who:

Have tried to eliminate fat through diet and exercise but have not been completely successful
Those seeking targeted fat removal, not overall weight loss
Within 30% of their ideal weight (or closer)
Those willing to live a healthy lifestyle after the procedure to prevent weight gain
Those who have realistic expectations
Those who are in good overall health
Those with a body mass index of less than 42

Frequently Asked Questions about Lipo 360

How long does it take to see the results of Lipo 360?

The Lipo 360 procedure removes fat immediately, unlike other body contouring procedures that kill fat cells but leave them in place for the body to eliminate naturally. However, because this is a surgical procedure, some patients may not see immediate results in terms of size reduction. It can take time for swelling to subside and for your skin and underlying tissues to return to normal. You should expect it to take a few weeks for your body to heal, followed by at least a few more weeks of minor inflammation. As the inflammation reduces over time, you’ll notice more and more significant results from the process.

Does Lipo 360 have a body mass index requirement?

Yes, it does. The best candidates for Lipo 360 have a body mass index of less than 42. Your body mass index, usually abbreviated as BMI, is your weight in pounds divided by the square of your height in feet. It can provide a great deal of information, including helping determine your risk factor for specific diseases and whether you are a good fit for particular procedures.

Does Lipo 360 permanently remove fat cells?

Yes, Lipo 360 permanently removes fat cells. However, new cells can still form if your weight increases over time. When you gain weight, fat cells increase in both size and volume. New cells can be added, as well. Liposuction-based procedures, including Lipo 360, reduce the number of fat cells within specific areas. The cells removed during the procedure are permanently removed. This helps reshape your body and define your curves.

Does Lipo 360 include thigh liposuction?

No, it does not. Lipo 360 is so-called because it focuses on the circumference of your torso, including the upper and lower abdominals, the flanks/sides, and your mid and lower back. If you wish to remove fat from your thighs, an additional liposuction procedure will be necessary. You may also be a candidate for laser or cryotherapy. Contact us to discuss your needs and we’ll be happy to highlight all the combinations that can help you achieve your body contouring goals.

How is Lipo 360 different from traditional liposuction?

While Lipo 360 does use liposuction technology, the procedure itself is very different from the traditional liposuction procedure. Traditional liposuction procedures focus on a single body part – the abdomen or the thigh, for example. Lipo 360 is a specially designed procedure that allows your surgeon to remove stubborn fat deposits from around the entire circumference (body areas) of your torso during a single procedure.
It also differs in other ways, including allowing your surgeon to contour specific areas and create a cohesive shape for your torso. It’s also less invasive overall, despite allowing access to the entire midsection.

Can you combine Lipo 360 with other liposuction procedures?

Yes! We regularly work with clients who combine Lipo 360 with other liposuction procedures. For instance, many of our clients want to reshape their thighs and midsections. We’re also happy to combine Lipo 360 with other plastic surgery options, including tummy tucks, facelifts, a Brazilian butt lift, breast augmentation/reduction, and more.

Can you get a tummy tuck and Lipo 360 at the same time?

Yes, you can. While they focus on similar areas, these procedures are not the same. Lipo 360 removes excess fat from the torso. However, it does not remove excess or loose skin. A tummy tuck can help remove sagging skin and can help those who’ve lost significant weight achieve a look they find more attractive and that boosts their self-confidence.

What is laser liposuction procedure?

Laser technology is an addition to a liposuction vacuum for sculpting stubborn excess fat. Lasers offer noninvasive fat removal by killing fat cells and allowing the body to eliminate the material naturally. Essentially, they melt fat and leave behind tighter skin and more pronounced curves.
